Paws and Claws is by far most the best vet I have ever taken my animals to. The staff out front is amazing and very polite. They never rush u and take the time to listen to what u have to day rather it be in person or on the phone. I have taken my animals there for over 5 years. The vets there are compassionate and take great care of my Bella she’s a German Shepherd. She loves going to see them. She gets so excited when I pull into the parking lot. There are not enough words to express how much I love Paws & Claws Animal Hospital. Dr. Alewel is the closest exotic veterinarian to me, which is an hour away from where I live but I would drive 3 hours just to see her and the staff. I have 6 rabbits and we have had several emergencies over the past year and EVERY time I call she is able to see them within 24 hours. She is thorough and explains everything to me and always presents me with all the options. After we have been seen the staff always text me and check in to see how we are doing. She has taken amazing care of all of my rabbits and I am so grateful to her and all the staff there.

I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to leave a review but all I can say is that it truly does not get better then the crew at paws and claws!!! I’ve been with them for about 5 years and I’ve never had anything less then a fantastic experience. We’re truly convinced our pets love them more then us because they get BEYOND excited when we pull up. They know all of our pets by name and always come running to say hi when we come. Even when I’m at peak paranoid pet mom they are always so amazing and talk us through everything. When we rescued our pup we found out he had heart worms and after the first treatment I called panicking and convinced something was wrong, Brandon talked me off the ledge and walked me through all of the side effects and when to know that there’s actually an issue and to bring him in. Dr.Anderson has been seeing all of my pets for 5 years and all of the other doctors were always amazing when we couldn’t see Dr. Anderson. When we lost our 13 year old Beardie, we received a handwritten card from the entire staff with personal notes from everyone. They always get my parrot, Eddie, in for boarding even if I call last minute and always go above and beyond for us!! Absolutely adore this whole team!! We couldn’t do it without them!

I called yesterday regarding becoming a new patient for my bird. They answered and promptly sent over paperwork to be filled out to become an established patient. The following day something seems off with my bird and I call when they are closed. They sent a message with information on how to reach them and I responded with a message explaining I would be a new client and I think something is wrong with her wing. They offered an appt at 3:30 but I had to pick up my son at that time and they are an hour away so they called and were able to squeeze me in this morning at 9:30. There was no wait to be seen and the vet and staff were all extremely friendly. You can tell they care about the animals. I am so happy to have found this place and now to be a continuous customer!
